AYMission Trips for 2009-10 & Others

For 2009-2010 Hmong District has set up short term mission trips, some with Jason Ostrander, National Alliance Youth Director and Matt Peace, Director of Short Term Mission at the C&MA national office.  The following trips are in the planning by the Mission Mobilization Committee of the Hmong District.

1.     ENVISION: Taipei'10
        Host:  Jason Ostrander, National Alliance Youth Director
        Date:  January 2 - 8, 2010
        Who:  20 - something young adults and older
        What:  "Envision" is an AY mission conference/trip for the young adult.
             I will lead the Hmong District group to Envision: Taipei'10.
             Cost:  Airfare ticket + registration

2.     Short Term Mission Trips.
        The Hmong District short term mission trips for 2009-2010:
        A.  A group of 12 people led by Dr. Ia Kue will go on a medical short term mission                to Southeast Asia. Done!
        B.  The short term mission team to Thailand left March 30, 2009.  Done!
        C.  An Alliance Men team to China, also left on April 2, 2009.  Done!
        D.  And a Lay leaders and pastoral team to Australia, working alongside and with                 the Australia C&MA outreach to plant a Hmong church there in February, 2010.
        E.  A team to Mongolia in the summer of 2010.
